About the hall

A building unlike anything else in the Valley

Nestled in the small, quiet community of Beachburg, Heritage Hall has graced the fairgrounds since 1931. The building's eight-sided octagon design is rare in Ontario. Its soaring cathedral ceiling, post-and-beam timber frame, and rustic pine board interior create a warmth and character that purpose-built event spaces rarely achieve.

The hall is part of the Beachburg Agricultural Society fairgrounds, home of the Beachburg Fair since 1857. It serves the community year-round, as the location of exhibit displays during fair week, and as a rental venue for private and community events throughout the rest of the year.

  • Weddings & receptions

    The hall's timber frame and warm pine interior make a natural backdrop for ceremonies and receptions. Indoor space with access to the fairgrounds outdoors.

  • Family reunions

    Plenty of space and parking, a central Ottawa Valley location, and the character of a building that's been part of the community for nearly a century.

  • Community events

    Meetings, fundraisers, workshops, markets, and local gatherings. The Society has hosted community events on these grounds for over 170 years.

  • Celebrations & milestones

    Anniversaries, retirement parties, stag and does, birthdays, and other milestones. A venue with real history behind it, not a hotel ballroom.

More than just the hall

The Beachburg fairgrounds extends well beyond Heritage Hall. The show rings, open-air spaces, and the grounds themselves are available for larger gatherings, outdoor markets, and events that need room to breathe, including the annual Beachburg Fibrefest each September.
